Arghh, Politics

I can’t strive away from them, these nasty politics. They seem to be existential in my mind yet so upfront and needing to be directly dealt with. Now, I don’t mean to be taking jabs at people specifically on the ‘right’ but it’s kind of funny when they point fingers at us ‘damn liberals’. It seems somewhat even more ironic when they claim that we all need to be questionable of the gov’t. I’d sure hope so. It’s our government, we are supposed to be the first and foremost of a checks and balance system. So how about you don't complain about us protesting a war. But its also set up in a matter that those that are elected in power actually have some control over us. This is both good and bad. I’m sure they’d easily say the prior when it’s a Republican in office. Scratch that any white man in office who claims he’s Christian.

Oh, but no, we have a black man in the White House and that leaves them very pissed, and that much more angry to get him out of there. Why it’s not that he may be sending even more people overseas to fight in wars that are built on lies and the secret need to insure our oil supply. (Though its really only to get his friends rich and powerful, we get a good amount of oil from Canada and Venezuela now!)
It’s not that he’s declared on war on Terror and that any citizen could possibly be a terrorist. No, its none of that.

Obama, wants to change the world. Though he is doing in much more lame way then I had hoped he is doing so. We are closing Guantanamo but continuing the War on Terror! We are actually holding talks with Israel where we hold them equally responsible for aggression! We are if I can properly saying so, still sticking to our World Police mantra, but one that is much closer to ideal.

But to say it’s all about Obama’s War on Terror handling that riles these people up from their couches and careers to take to the streets with guns in their arms would be wrong. But to say it was Bush would be a fallacy. Now I’m OK with anyone who’s against tax breaks for the rich especially when it’s for companies and corporations that failed because they suck. Why do we have to be the designated driver for them. This seems contrary to the whole Republican and even constitutional ideal. Business is risky to make money and lose it. So why aren’t we letting businesses fail. Why are we still pushing a G.W. Bush instilled practice of giving money away to the rich?
But the question that comes to mind most often is why this country is so partisan and held to a state of stupor? I pay taxes and I would say that I’m socially liberal, but with a fiscal responsibility. Does this mean also that because I’m an agnostic leaning atheist that I am a horrible immoral person? But guess what, I would have to say that giving my paid taxes away to companies that failed because they really do suck, in the amount that we have given does anger me. But do you know what keeps me away from venting my anger with protests with the Tea Partiers’? I could very well base it on the fact that too much of them just learned how to use the internet, and really love the memes it provides. (Where else would somebody get the idea that Obama is actually Hitler?) I could base it on the pure and simple standing fact of the group as a whole that points to bringing down Obama literally because he is black. All in all, it’s a bunch of racists and anarchocapitalists who are trying to have fun with our emotions, most of them a slave to them already. Are these true patriots? Can you self declare that you are a patriot? I don’t know on either, but to self-declare literally screams, “I’m the biggest A-hole you'll ever meet”, starting at the ‘P’! If these people are patriots, where were they when Bush and friends were wiretapping, when Bushies were giving away our tax dollars?

The most important question of all that I think proves hypocrisy on any individual who believes that there is a ‘left-wing conspiracy’, particularly anyone who ponders why they are being questioned in their regard to question authority when the criticize Obama:

“Where were you challenging the authority of a president and cabinet that you voted in, when they really did strip us of some civil liberties and were willing to risk the lives of your children in an unjust war where our money was dumped without oversight?”

OH
Shit!

I think I just answered my own question. It’s all about money, it always has been. Ughh, Selfish Bastards!
